Hi! My name is Kristina Sandler Reynosa. I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist #157674. I take a compassionate, trauma-informed and direct approach. I highly value developing a genuine connection with my clients. I recognize the profound impact that past experiences have on present-day functioning and relationships.

My professional foundation is supported by rigorous academic training. I hold a Masters of Arts in Marital and Family Therapy from University of San Diego and a Masters of Arts in Psychology from Long Island University. I integrate Mindfulness as an evidence-based approach to sessions. All of my clinical practice has been in an integrative care IOP and PHP setting treating complex issues. This background has honed my ability to manage crises and provide structured support for clients undergoing significant life transitions or acute distress.

While my professional life is dedicated to the well-being of my clients, I maintain a strong commitment to personal balance and connection. In my time outside of work, I prioritize quality time spent outdoors, finding rejuvenation and joy with my family, my beloved doggie, Juicy, and my friends. I am a firm believer in the therapeutic power of nature. Additionally, I am passionate about nurturing my creative side through various hobbies and am dedicated to continuous learning, regularly seeking out advanced training and research to ensure my practice remains current and effective.

Meet Juicy—The resident mood booster and four-legged team member. She brings a calming, positive presence to every interaction. Specialties include tail wags, and instant mood boosts.

If you’d like, Juicy is always happy to make a special appearance during our session. Whether you need a quick emotional boost, a stress-relieving break, or simply a cute hello, she’s ready to brighten your day. Available upon request.
